Why is it so damn hard to start writing these journals? Guess that I can write about the summer then.
Well, it started out nice with a week in Scania (the southern part of sweden) at my dude's summer house. I fell in love with the place instantly. It was like 200 m to the sea and there was a very nice beach and we got lucky with the weather

. While we were there we paid a visit to Denmark.
Then, when me and Stoffe got back, we got to watch the cat and the house while my parents went to Tunisia, then Russia and then Spain. I got some painting work done during that time. And I found myself liking oil paints very much. I made 2 rather large paintings in oils, two birthday gifts actually (will post in gallery). One was for my pa and the other for Stoffe. The last one was very popular as a gift, Stoffe stared at it for like 15 minutes after it gone up on the wall

.
I worked at the post office for four weeks too. It was my 6:th year there, I think. If you ask me that is the greatest summer job ever! You get a lot of fresh air and some excercise as well. And with it, it comes a welcomed ka-ching in the wallet.
When my four weeks came to an end me and Stoffe went to Scania for a second time. It turned out to be just as nice as the last time.
My studies start september 2:nd, genetics of populations, but only at 25% speed (one evening every week throughout the term). The really interesting stuff comes september 24:th, ethology, human ethology and animal wellfare (I would wery much want to work as an animal cop but the Swedish animal protection system is so crappy and I can save this subject till the time when I wave nothing to write about in the journal).
Also I worked my ass off for the last three days, sorting and throwing away stuff I don't need to make the tiny little appartment work for two.
Yep. That's all I did this summer.
